The Hospital

Clinique Psychiatrique Garches

For some years now, Nightingale Hospitals Paris – Clinique du Château has stood out as a gold standard in the field of psychiatry, in the Île-de-France region.

We specialise in the treatment of psychiatric disorders such as bipolar disorders, depression, Burn OutOCD, sleep disorders, addictions  and neuro-cognitive disorders.

Quality of care, personalised procedures, know-how of an experienced team: many reasons contributing to such success.

Our approach is based on a consistent and transparent medical programme which involves patients closely in their treatment, from diagnosis through to creation of a long-term strategy for preventing relapse and complications, which can lead to severe disability.

The strong ethos of team work at the hospital has developed the medical programme into what it is today. It continues to improve and develop daily by the ever-relevant response to our patients’ suffering by our professionals.

An exceptional site

15 kilometres from Paris, at the heart of the Hauts de Seine department, Garches is a residential town surrounded by large woodlands (Saint-Cloud park, Bois de Boulogne) which make it a haven of nature and silence, right next to the French capital.

The clinic is set on five-hectares of park and woodland, right next to St Cloud, which makes the Clinic a unique site, ideal for recharging your batteries.

The story of La Clinique du Château at Nightingale Hospitals-Paris

La Clinique du Château de Garches, former home to the family of Antoine de Saint-Exupery, was founded in 1930 by her Highness the Princess of Greece, Marie Bonaparte, student of Freud, and some famous doctors, among whom Doctor Rondepierre and Doctor Olivier Garand. The latter directed the clinic for more than forty years, taking its renown beyond borders.

Wishing to carry on with this tradition and to offer its patients the best quality care in an exceptional environment, the new Management, led by a dynamic team, undertook an approach of continuous improvement of the quality of services since 1998, in order to better meet its patients expectations.
